I just wanted to write a little update on yesterday’s post, because I actually did what I said I was going to do. I did my creative work in my free time.
During my lunch and 15 minute breaks, I worked on my book. After I got home and ate dinner, I busted out my easel, paints, and brushes, and painted for a while.
Not surprisingly, the more creative work I did, the more energy I had for it.
It was great waking up this morning and not feeling guilty for knowing I could have worked on my art yesterday and didn’t.
Now all I have to do is keep going. There’s immense power in consistency.
