My Kindle Paperwhite came in the mail a couple of days ago. I got one because I’ve been reading a lot and reading on my phone isn’t a great experience. I’ve been reading physical books as well, but I don’t really have room for many of them.
Since I’m going to be reading even more now, I thought it would be fun to post what I’ve been reading each week. I’ll also throw in stuff I liked in general, like TV shows, movies, podcasts, and blog posts.
Things I liked this week:
- Harry Potter. I love J.K. Rowling’s writing style. This is my third read through of the series.
- Stephen Pressfield. After I read The War of Art a couple of weeks ago, I read Turning Pro and Nobody Wants to Read Your Sh*t as well. The Knowledge is next on my list; it’s the story of how Pressfield came up with the ideas in The War of Art.
- Aggretsuko. I’m a Hello Kitty fan, but I’m rarely into other Sanrio characters. Aggretsuko’s adorable rage speaks to me. I’ve started watching the animated show on Netflix and I want this cushion.
- Over-ear headphones. I used to wear giant headphones exclusively. I would carry them in my backpack to listen to music on the bus in high school. However, for the last few years I’ve only been using earbuds. I got some Bluetooth over-ear headphones this week and I love wearing them while I write and do chores.
